Re: Apache WM6.1 19213 Kitchen

Is that limit due to the write/erase figures for the chip?

Did you include the battery tweaks package?

Check control panel and see what's on.

Re: Apache WM6.1 19213 Kitchen

Does anyone know if the irda functionality works with this particular build? I've searched around and could not find a definitive answer although I did read somewhere on this forum there were initially problemswith the IRDA port.

I successfully flashed my PPC-6700 and phone is running great but I cannot connect using the phone's IRDA port. Using WM 6.0 the IRDA port worked perfectly.

IRDA does not work for me using both this build and Helmi's build as well.

Thanks,

RVS

I sent a few files to another phone via IR. I never tried to receive anything though.

Re: Apache WM6.1 19213 Kitchen

Couple of issues:

1. My Notifications keep getting reset, I have now had to go into the config and set them to make noises almost 9 times and have had no luck at finding what is causing it.

2. I miss a lot of pictures on the MMS.

3. When Wi-fi is on my data connection for the phone also will activate making both of them active at once and everything always defaults to the slow 1X data connection of the phone. (I have Alltel with no data package).

Any help or suggestions?

Clean build only have weather panel and google earth installed.

Re: Apache WM6.1 19213 Kitchen

What version of ArcSoft are you using for MMS? Could you try a different version to see if that fixes it?

To get rid of the Data connection issues, you could use NoData to disable your cell network data connection. Not sure why both are connected at the same time though.

Re: Apache WM6.1 19213 Kitchen

I got my MMS working I had settings in Gateway that I removed and also changed the Connect via: from "The Internet" to "Alltel Wireless" after doing this and performing a soft reset I got almost 9 pic messages that I had missed. So far it's still working great will send and recieve every time. My Notification sounds however have reset twice now I still cannot find out why...

i can answer number 3 ^_^ you should install "No Data"
with that program you can disable the data connection from 1x data...
when you are on Wifi disable the data connection from 1x... if you are not on wifi you can enable it again ^_^
