I have connected both ways and have not had issues with sending/receiving emails via ActiveSync Exchange.

Cell Data connection to Exchange 2007 SP1 with absolutely no issues in 6.0 ROM. Also, when it syncs, sometimes there is a blanc white screen. Clicking ok seems to close it.

There are more details, but no solution to this white-screen Exchange Server outbox issue posted to xda-developers here:

Hopefully someone cooks up a solution, but that's out of my domain. All I can do is try to get us to share information there so we can find patterns and get to the root of the problem.
