No, I wasn't aware of that shortcut. I'll try it later tonight once I rebuild my ROM (I unchecked it since it wasn' working).

I don't suppose the Comm Manager is available as a CAB?

Thanks,
Doug

No, but until the fixed OEM is out, you can easily fix your problem of the start menu too. Just use file explorer and find Comm Manager.lnk in \Windows or in \App Buttons. Then just copy it to \Windows\Start Menu\Programs

Thanks, the App Buttons link worked. I just created a copy of the link. It's nice to have it back.

As far as ActiveSync stopping, I think "Magic Button" was killing the ActiveSync process. Does the ActiveSync process have to be open for DirectPush email to work? Either way, I've removed the Magic Button app in this build, I'll just install a Task Manager that I can remove without reflashing if it doesn't work well...

=D> Thanks for all your hard work and help!

I dont have any task manager program installed and my Apache is having a really hard time syncing. It might work one of 15 times, but will charge the whole time. No problems with 6.0. "USB device not recognized" is the error I keep being shown Any ideas?

Have you disabled advanced network functionality under Settings\system 'USB to PC'?

This is showing enabled for me. Are you suggesting that I disable it?

I'm in another country (Israel) using someone elses XP computer. I've blown one travel charger and have been charging my phone with my wife's laptop, but she's away for a few days and I'm now using a regular desktop. I can't get my Apache to charge, much less sync [I couldn't get it to sync with the laptop either, but I didn't really care, as long as it would charge] and I'm a little anxious. I went to connections and 'USB to PC' isn't there!
Also, every time the device sleeps, I get a warning that my battery is low and then critically low. When I go to check and turn the device on, battery levels are fine. Related? Fixable?

Any suggestions?
