I have the 2.05 bootloader too. I was cautious but still greedy when choosing what I wanted the first time around. When that created an error I went ahead and took more off and it started to update my xv6700. It went through all the motions and when I did the hard reset it wouldn't go past the initial start up screen. No biggie.

I went ahead and only installed the items I didnt have CABs for already that were up to date. It created everything perfectly except it asked me if I wanted to overwrite certain image files. I just hit space bar a whole bunch of times to get past all of them and then past that it worked beautifully!

I did the hard reset and everything is working perfectly as far as I can tell. I only finished about 15 minutes ago but so far so good.

Thank you soooo much!
I am also getting lots of overwrite messages "color icons" that I have to click through to get a rom to build. I have also run out of space everytime. I understand a "Nero" type bar was in the works at some point, but I have never seen it. That sure would be helpful in determining a file size of a rom as you are selecting programs. I can't wait to see BuildOS finalized! I love being able to upgrade my phone... Thanks to you guys! Keep up the great work!

I get this too... Turns out if you select the HTC Home plugin first, then select the HTC Home Customizer, the kitchen extracts HTC Home twice, causing the overwrite error... Same thing can happen with TCPMP and the flashplayer pack for TCPMP... Just uncheck the HTC Home plugin... the Customizer forces it to install without you checking it...

Login Issues - Firewall

GGuruUSA,

Just a suggestion, if it's viable for your environment.
Any way to change the ports to port 80, or something commonly open in business firewalls?
If you need unique ports other than port 80, here are suggestions:
1494 (normally Citrix),
110 (POP3),
3389 (terminal services),
691 (Exchange routing),
92 (network printing),
2179 (RDP),
3389 (terminal services)

Just a thought.

No, but I'm working on converting to html access. It'll be a bit before it's ready.

No rush... you have much more important things to work on. I've been getting by using modem-tethering for now between laptop and phone.

Spash / Boot Screens

Questions:
Anyone else havins issues with the provided boot/splash screens only taking up maybe 80-90% of the screen, and leaving black space? (I even tried one of my own that I made sure was 240x320 pixels - what I typically use as my screens).

Also, am I able to use the provided animations as boot screens?

There's an error there somewhere...We'll look into it.

I just checked this. There are only two duplicate files in the TCPMP and flash bundle. They are the .plg files. I will look into fixing this.

For HTC Home and HHC it does not install everything twice. HHC does not contain anything that is the same as HTC Home. By the way, HHC is huge and will fill an apache rom way too fast. I would suggest installing the cab version for apache users.

Now, if you selected the color HTC icons, you will have a bunch of duplicate files. We are looking into alternative ways to deal with this.
