Re: Apache WM6.1 Kitchen CE OS 5.2.19716 (Build 19716.1.0.0) - UPDATED 20080308
yes, if you hold the record button, and the power button, then push the soft reset button, all at the same time it will put the phone in bootloader. the screen will look like its off, but f you hold it under a light you will see that it says serial at the top, and the bootloader version at the bottom. when you connect it to your pc it should change from serial to usb. if your only problem is your phone not going into bootloader, do it manually, connect and run buildOS.

Awesome! buildOS has come a long since inception. I was going to start using it before I kept having hw issues with my 6700 and went to the mogul.. I since got the apache working and now it will try a new home with my sis-inlaw. kinda almost....ALMOST, want to keep the apache and give up the mogul.
Thanks very much to all the developers and folks here at PPCGEEKS, pp is on its way. ps, someone might want to sticky http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=14818 or create another specific to 6.1, most the info applied and was very helpful for a noob.

Here are my selections and I'm running bootloader v 1.00 and windows xp on my pc. Everytime I've tried to load the rom I get this message: error 102: CE file checksum error. My ruu is standard.
