Updater.exe and x64

Hey guys,

I've just tested this on two x64 machines. I don't have a x32 machine available at this moment but i cannot run updater.exe. Is it compatible with x64?

It's working fine on Vista x64 for me. I have to start BuildOS as Administrator to get everything to work right, but I haven't had a problem other than that.

I get an error that says "Invalid Parameter". Or the Parameter is incorrect.

This is a manifest issue. I've bundled the manifest externally as a band-aid - as long as it's in the same folder as the .exe you should be ok. Setting Run as Administrator should also resolve the issue (and keep UAC from warning you all the time too).

I should have mentioned I am running XP x64. The manifest file is in the same folder and i've tried running the executable as administrator and I still get the same error. Any other suggestions/ideas?

gguruusa,

I am still having this issue that Updater.exe gives me a "The parameter is incorrect." Any ideas?

I am running XP x64.

If it won't run when you double click the .exe, then you're going to have to find a different platform. It's going to be awhile before I look into this.

Edit: since this is updater we're talking about, I'll make the files downloadable from ppckitchen tomorrow.
