Okay I posted in the wrong thread at first...

Per advice I dl'd CF Net 2.0 and installed
uninstalled/re-installed buildOS
I'm still getting the error.

Is the kitchen bad? Please help. T.I.A.

The advice was for .Net 2.0 SP1, not CF .Net 2.0.

.Net 2.0 SP1

It worked!

I have the 2.05 bootloader too. I was cautious but still greedy when choosing what I wanted the first time around. When that created an error I went ahead and took more off and it started to update my xv6700. It went through all the motions and when I did the hard reset it wouldn't go past the initial start up screen. No biggie.

I went ahead and only installed the items I didnt have CABs for already that were up to date. It created everything perfectly except it asked me if I wanted to overwrite certain image files. I just hit space bar a whole bunch of times to get past all of them and then past that it worked beautifully!

I did the hard reset and everything is working perfectly as far as I can tell. I only finished about 15 minutes ago but so far so good.

Thank you soooo much!

I am also getting lots of overwrite messages "color icons" that I have to click through to get a rom to build. I have also run out of space everytime. I understand a "Nero" type bar was in the works at some point, but I have never seen it. That sure would be helpful in determining a file size of a rom as you are selecting programs. I can't wait to see BuildOS finalized! I love being able to upgrade my phone... Thanks to you guys! Keep up the great work!

Thanks for the awesome kitchen!

I had to trim quite a bit out from what I had in the last one, but it's all good.

One issue so far - the HTC audio manager pops up the following error:

The file 'AudioManager' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file.

I'm going to re-flash after work tonight and change some things. Hopefully that will fix it.

I have the exact same error!:silent:

Can anyone tell me if the WM6 WPA-PSK Fix that's on the ftp will work with the 6.1 os? Or is there a .cab for the new fix that I can get? If I can install with a .cab fix and not have to rebuild and flash, I'd be tickled pink - I have everything installed and customized and am thrilled!! If not, with my data plan and as often as I don't use wifi, I can live without a fix till needing to rebuild sometime later. And to think I had been thinking of getting the xv6900 . . . Not anymore!

Last page or 2, they said it had been fixed and uploaded and can be gotten via the updater. Also heard one response that it worked well. So time to flash again! :)

This rom is great! Boot up time is even faster than WM6.0, and overall, as usual it feels snappier (don't care if it's placebo or not :-p)

I'd prefer avoiding having to reinstall everything again; that's why I asked if the fix is available via .cab file. Appreciate if anyone knows the answer to that.

Yes and no... It let's me in, but won't let me load my previously saved settings... It is forcing me to load the default, and it crashes if I try to load my settings from the menu... After the crash, the program won't let me back in without Internet... Can't double check it right now because I can't hook my laptop to the Internet at work... :(
