I just turned on WiFi and it immediately noticed all the networks here, i picked mine from the list, put in my WEP key and it connected. I actually like it a lot better than WM6 as it picked up the networks a lot faster and took significantly less time to connect.

I'm having login issues too. I get the following error:

Login Failed
[DBNETLIB][ConnectionOpen (Connect()_.]SQL Server does not exist or access denied.

If I'm not mistaken this looks like a firewall issue. I get this error at work but not on my machine at home.

When I click on the Kitchen Rom Kit link the save button in the BuildOS.msi popup window is not active (It's grayed out), only the cancel button is available.

EX

Figured it out...just had to be a little more patient for the "save" button to appear.

This is a manifest issue. I've bundled the manifest externally as a band-aid - as long as it's in the same folder as the .exe you should be ok. Setting Run as Administrator should also resolve the issue (and keep UAC from warning you all the time too).

Initially I used my user/pass from here and that created the brought up the error 'BuildOS v.09.05.2 (03/03/2008) has expired.'

To be clear, I did the full update for all available updates and they did install.

Suggestions?

Problem solved... me and GGuru got it resolved this morning. I would imagine he'll have the updated version up soon.

Thanks again GGuru for all the time and effort you and your teammates have put into this!!! :D

What do you mean by "doesn't seem to get recognized properly?"

The overwriting is a warning...buildos doesn't know what they are, and in some circumstances overwriting is both unintended and deleterious. A future release will avoid/reduce the multiple popups issue.

When I say that, I mean that I see the following error when I open my project file. When I watch the progress of the build, it looks like the Alarm program errors then works correctly.
Error in BuildOS window: Internal Error- Option.xml GUID not found (BigJAlarmClock-26316bb1-c258-11db-8314-0800200c9a66)

I should have mentioned I am running XP x64. The manifest file is in the same folder and i've tried running the executable as administrator and I still get the same error. Any other suggestions/ideas?
