which start icons are you referring to? just out of curiosity. i run it in conjunction with quickmenu (like the cascading start menu). so i'm not sure which ones your'e referring to.

BuildOS completed with that error, but I haven't flashed it yet.
I'm going to guess that if option.xml isn't built correctly, AlarmClock it isn't going to work correctly (if at all) once I flash the device.

anyone else try out Navizon?? i just did my first soft reset since the flash and Navizon is crashing at bootup. effectively locking up the device. i'm going to use safe mode to make sure it's not in the startup, i'm wondering if anyone else is having problems with it.

okay, i got it, theres a check for updates on startup option. it appears that it's trying to connect before the radio is fully initialized, thus locking up. thats how it seems anyway. lemme know if i'm wrong.

gguruusa,

I am still having this issue that Updater.exe gives me a "The parameter is incorrect." Any ideas?

I am running XP x64.

If it won't run when you double click the .exe, then you're going to have to find a different platform. It's going to be awhile before I look into this.

Edit: since this is updater we're talking about, I'll make the files downloadable from ppckitchen tomorrow.

as a side note; after this flash my phone thought my battery was dead and wouldn't show a charge (and vista hide bat wasn't working), but a soft reset fixed this. also I'm not sure if related I had checked the "running programs link" and wktask in buildOS. (the "link" doesn't show, but does remove "help" so i'm ok with it)

In this case, it's likely that the only symptom is AlarmClock will be included regardless of whether it's checked or not.

Really. That's interesting.
I just rebuilt the ROM without AlarmClock and am flashing as I type.
Dang the startup on this thing is fast!

Another quick question... is something up with the updater? It's updated something almost every time I've started it, but it always shows the same version number.

UPDATE: You're right. AlarmClock wasn't selected, but it showed up in the ROM and is working fine. Amazing.

scroll through the build log and see if it excluded AlarmClock.

I updated buildos and the kitchen today, that's why updater had something for you. I didn't up the visible portion of the build numbers, that's why they appeared stationary.
