I have this problem as well. I thought there was a reg fix to make this louder, but at this stage, I havent found it. I am continuing to search for it though.

I feel there's a bug in WM6. I'm not sure. I had original ROM and it synced all my PIM data well. Now with WM6, it does not sync. Contacts 3692/3998, Calendar 0/457, Notes 37/37 and Tasks 5/81. The total pim.vol size is 15.4M from File Explorer. The format is PPC/Outlook. These got synced. I have no clue why is this happening. Is there some restriction for the pim.vol size? Total pim.vol size was 16.2MB.Or are there any other kinds of restrictions? I read someone saying that having 10,000 contacts is not a problem. I'm nothing near to that. I've used the latest kitchen. Do help me please. I ran the kitchen from WinXP machine. I sync with Vista. Is there a way to get the no. of contacts, calendar, notes and tasks like outlook? This would be good. I'm giving this no. from PIMbackup, I also checked through Stools. I didn't do anything else with the above mentioned 2 programs.

I'm not clear on what it is you did. Did you restore using Activesync or restore using PIMBackup?

Didn't happen with earlier Kitchens.

Just to let the Kitchen off the hook, there is a new Claunch, version 12.04 which addresses this very issue. Hung up the first time, but after soft reset, the icons seem to show up every time, and much faster. https://sourceforge.net/project/plat...roup_id=147311

Can you add to the kitchen or modify the OEM? (I gotta learn how to do that.)

i had a problem like that. it has nothing to do with the kitchen, sometimes windows misplaces .dll files. this particular one is a Microsoft .NET Runtime Execution Engine. do a google search for it, download it and put it in /windows/system32 (for win xp). then try the kitchen again.

i only synced with outlook2007 on vista after the ROM update and hard reset. I didn't restore it. The pimbackup was used to find out the no. of contacts, calendar, notes and tasks on ppc.
As I was facing this I reverted back to AKU3.5f. All my data synced well. nothing missing.

I have searched all 5 bug threads for the many wm6's kitchen builds. Apparently I am the only one having this problem. After upgrading to 071217_1 my camera's flash is no longer working. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

hi guys,
for most of the addon software i am seeing this message when i try to run the application or configuration.

"The file 'xxxxxxxxxxxx' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file."
