Post wm6 sync problem

I synced with outlook 2007 with wm6 on Windows XP. I still get the same result. Is anyone getting the same problem? I'm surprised why is everyone quiet on this? I'm definately looking for a solution.
I also synced ppc with wm6 to outlook 2003 on Windows XP. The data is yet a problem. The result is the same. I think there's a bug in wm6 ROM. Dear Helmi, please look into this and help me. You can mail me on vusheth@gmail.com

The total pim.vol size is 15.4M from File Explorer. The format is PPC/Outlook. These got synced. I have no clue why is this happening. Is there some restriction for the pim.vol size? Total pim.vol size was 16.2MB.Or are there any other kinds of restrictions? I read someone saying that having 10,000 contacts is not a problem. I'm nothing near to that. I've used the latest kitchen. Do help me please. I ran the kitchen from WinXP machine. I sync with Vista. Is there a way to get the no. of contacts, calendar, notes and tasks like outlook? This would be good. I'm giving this no. from PIMbackup, I also checked through Stools. I didn't do anything else with the above mentioned 2 programs.

I love the rom but as of right now I am only having one major issue, and one question. I am new to the scene so I hope these are not asking stupid questions.

My phone freezes up when I create a vpn connection and set up activesync to push out new email to my phone from my exchange server. It does not seem to matter if i schedule it for 5 minutes or 2 hours the phone freezes sometime after the backlight/screen shuts off and I can not get the phone back on by pushing the power button or even by holding the power button. The led still blinks in the corner. Can anyone help me with this its driving me nuts? I am using radio 1.10 I dont know if that matters.

Also I am trying to listen to a local radio station that is streaming on an http:// and WMP wont play audio. I was wondering if you know if the HTC streaming player will play it and if so can I change the registry to make IE open the HTC player instead of WMP.

If i can supply anymore info let me know.

Thanks for all your time and hardwork.

Talking Beam is no longer missing

Also
As to the icon text getting trashed, That is PocketFMS causing it,
and I've got no clue as to why but that has been happening (multiple
ROM upgrades since AKU3.5 thru this build 20071217).

The Advanced Configuration tool will do this too when you use it the first time. Fortunately, if you go back into the Advanced Configuration tool, and go to the Comm Manager tab, you can bring it back (it's called Beam), and it stays this time... (I'm guessing the kitchen is missing a setting in the default registry/database) Don't know if this will fix icon text...

Active Sync not allowing phone to shut off now

Just installed the new rom yesterday and so far so good with one exception. Ive found that if I have my activesync set to sync as items arrive then it will not shut down via the power settings to turn off after x minutes.

If i set active sync to sync after a different amount of time or kill the process the power is turned off as expected.

Ive installed google maps, spb backup, tcpmp, foxit reader, my mobiler, and agenda one since updating. Prior to updating this worked so Im not sure what else to do. Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

VPN Sleep of Death

I have the same issue as Dukill. I flashed over to the latest kitchen ROM (which rocks!) setup gmail, outlook and my apps. Everything worked like a champ for 2+ weeks both gmail and outlook syncing fine every two hours. Then they decided to remove the OMA and put our Exchange server behind our VPN. No problem I thought, so I changed the settings for Outlook/Activesync to use the VPN. Tested it all out, and worked like a champ. Ever since then my phone is hanging, no response, won't take a call and requires a soft reset to fix. Once I disable the auto sync of Outlook and make it manual the phone is back to being rock solid. Another indication that it is the VPN is that the other night I manually checked my gmail and Outlook mail it all synced up fine, but I did not manually close the data connection and kill all processes, just powered off the phone. Next time I tried to use the phone (30 min past when it's alarm was supposed to wake me up) it was hung.

I am willing to run any debug code necessary to help resolve this issue as I am loving WM6 and the Kitchen.

CANNOT RECEIVE PHONE CALLS (or receives to speakerphone)

Issue: Phone rings, and I can either NOT answer (both Answer soft-key and the off-hook button do not respond), OR the phone answers to speakerphone, with the microphone inactive (so they can't hear me)

This started happening just after a clean ROM flash. (See attached selections).
No other software installed post ROM flash.

Strangely enough, I think my phone skin disappeared as well and is back to the default.

Re: Apache WM6 Kitchen CE OS 5.2.1908 (Build 18508.0.7.0) 20071217 Bugs/Patches

I've got the same issue and I think it's related to ActiveSync - Exchange connection. I also have the problem that the phone will be kicked out if ActiveSync activates to sync with Exchange server.

I'm running Radio 1.14.00

Can the 6700 not sustain Data and Voice simultaneously?

Is this solved by an uprdate in radio versions?

Re: Apache WM6 Kitchen CE OS 5.2.1908 (Build 18508.0.7.0) 20071217 Bugs/Patches

Hey guys I've read and haven't seen this, I hope I didn't miss it.

The Kitchen just fails to start. I have .Net framework 2.0 installed.. (along with 1.1, dont know if i'm supposed to uninstall that?)

When I double click the icon on my desktop a message pops up "PPC-OS has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvience."

"If you were in the middle of something, the information you were working on might be lost."

What can I do? I have the framework installed, I have used the kitchen before on a different computer, using windows xp sp2 now.. Please pm or reply back.. thanks a lot
