Good News
Guys this is great news for VZW people. So I can now confirm MMS functionality for 6700 and 6800 VZW users!
I have an Alltel user testing, and I am about to release a second version of the Sprint OEM for Sprint user testing. Thanks, Steve |

Oems
Evening Folks,
I have deleted the newly posted OEMs until I can figure out an install issue. I should have this back shortly. For those who downloaded the OEMs please refrain from using them at this time. Thanks, Steve |
well im not to advanced with it but i threw the oem in my rom with build os and program runs fine except my mms arent sending it says sending but after its done it ends up in my outbox instead of my sent and the messages arent recieved on the other end

check to see if the default server setting is correct, if not, change the server and set the appropriate one as the default
|
If you compose the message inside of Arcsoft it will just sit in your outbox. If you go to the camera app, take a picture, and choose to send the picture it will actually go out.

spretillo, the mms is working properly but when I receive messages the picture is so small. How do I change the size of the picture setting to make it fit the entire screen... when I take a picture it fits the entire screen, hmmmm?

Hows It Working??
Afternoon all,
I see 30 people have looked at the updated OEM. Can I get some feedback? I would like to know its working properly. Thanks, Steve |

I am a Sprint user who is attempting to use this OEM, but I am also running into a wall where I send the message, it appears to upload, but then never leaves the outbox. I noticed that there is no Sprint key under HKLM\Software\Arcsoft\Arcsoft MMS UA\Config\mm1\Wspheader, so I attempted to create one with the same format as the others, and updated it with my phone number (removed before registry dump for security reasons). Unfortunately, this resulted in the same problem. However, I do not understand what the third instruction given (about comments) meant, so I would appreciate some clarification. Thanx and I'll be happy to provide as much feedback as I can, just let me know what ya need.

I have not been able to get MMS to work with this version, but the previous version in the Kitchen has worked on WM6 in the past. Attached are the log folders, sorry I forgot to include them in the original .zip file.
Thanx again Jake *Edited to include requested info about Acrsoft MMS 3 |
I need help!!! Up until a few days ago my mms was working now it doesn't do anything. When I send a mms message I see the hour glass on the envelop but the shooting envelop that I used to see at the top of our phone doesn't come up. when I go to pull up the message first there's an hourglass on an envelop then a time symbol on the envelop with no delivery message or anything. All of the sudden I can't send or receive and I didn't do anything to my 6700, can someone please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I used it but everything was over written by the kitchen. Once I figure out how to change that I will flash again and let you know.
|
Until I do this I hope this helps: Internal Server Error. Thats what I get whenever I go to menu then send/receive.

Steve--
I just posted a Vogue Kitchen based on ported aku.0.7.0. I would love to include the newer OEM for Arcsoft. My kitchen supports Sprint, Alltel, and Cricket at the moment. I have Cricket MMS settings if you need them. Thanks. |
Updated OEM
Evening Folks,
Edited: 01/22/08 The following changes have been made to the OEM: 1) Added Cricket MMS information. This still needs to be validated by a Cricket user. In order to use this OEM the following needs to be done to the .rgu file to support different carriers: A) Change HKLM\Software\Arcsoft\ArcSoft MMS UA\Config\mm1 - DefaultSetting. Pick either Alltel, Sprint PCS, Verizon Wireless, or Cricket. B) Insert your phone number under the appropriate phone entry for HKLM\Software]Arcsoft\Arcsoft MMS UA\Config\mm1\Wspheader. B) Change HKLM\Software\Arcsoft\ArcSoft MMS UA\Config\UI - Domain. For Alltel,Sprint PCS, or Cricket user comment out the current selection and un-comment out your carrier setting. Verizon Wireless is the default in the OEM so nothing to do if you are a VZW user. I have not heard from Sprint or Alltel users. Can I get some comments back so if I need to tweak their settings I can. For those who want to test these for me please remember what I need in order to troubleshoot. I would like the following: 1) Full registry dump prior to using the MMS application 2) Full registry dump after using the MMS application 3) Full and complete error messages or screenshots of errors Please unzip your and drop in the USER_OEM folder of your kitchen. The OEM will show up in a new category called MMS - Test. This was done to seperate these OEMs until they are officially accepted into the kitchen. Happy Cooking, Steve |
I'm a little confused on this part: Insert your phone number under the appropriate phone entry for HKLM\Software]Arcsoft\Arcsoft MMS UA\Config\mm1\Wspheader.
I got: "X-VzW-MDN"="0000000000" "X-Alltel-MDN"="0000000000" I have Sprint, and do I create an entry for Sprint followed by my phone ##? |

Ok I just tried the latest OEM of this, (I'm using a 6700 w/ WM6 on Sprint) But it's not letting me send a message out, it'll try and send but the message stays in the outbox. There is no error codes or anything like that, I'll try and get some more information for you in a bit.

Hey Spetrillo,
I'm not really ready for a hard reset right now, so I can't test this OEM out. I have been using an ArcSoft 4.2 OEM for Cricket in the 6800 kitchen, though, and your Cricket settings look correct. Nice work on using port 8080, too; that's a setting that gets overlooked often. |
