I had forgotten that I have been using 520 for about a week now until I just saw this thread. I didnt really notice a difference until just now when I went back to stock, and oh man does it feel sluggish. I also bumped it to 624 and it feels BLAZING fast compared to the 520 I've been using all week. All my apps open faster, and zooming and panning documents in Picsel browser is noticeably faster as well.

I really dont understand the numbers though, I mean I think we can all tell that it makes a difference, or is it really just power of suggestion making us think its faster?

not mesurable via cpu tests, or wall clocks. Just oozes "feeling" mojo into your head. Works for me. 624 is too much mojo for me though, I really only am comfortable feeling like its 520...

I'm with you on this one. I ran it @624 and it was so blazing that I am not comfortable with my device being overclocked at that speed. I think I will leave mine at 520 also. Thanks again for this find.

Make sure you enable 'dynamic CPU frequency scaling' checkbox I added it to my rom with the new kitchen and never checked it. (default is unchecked) Wondered why my battery was dieing so fast.

Now if only someone would deliberately make a program that doesn't upscale the processor (but says it does) and then post it on a webforum claiming it's the fastest thing since the X-43D and more powerful than the zpinch...

It would make for an interesting psychology experiment if nothing else.

The HTC app was built for the Intel chipset I believe. Since the Samsung has a newer Samsung processor I am not sure it will work. Your better bet would be to look into Xcpuscalar. Again not sure if this will work with the newer processor you have.
