Check out Tiermann's OEMizer application, in the \Tools subfolder of the kitchen.

IMHO that's insane. I don't consider my db large and I've got over 350 contacts.

After I got the message, I just assumed I needed to go with the noid version, so I did - including putting the 6700 into bootloader first...

Lemme check right now for the version...

Yep, when I put it into bootloader doing power-notes-reset it's 2.02

It's not a biggie - was more of a question of "should it have worked".
Yeah, should have worked, but doesn't surprise me that it didn't. Lots of variables out of our control can make a difference there.

One habit you might consider for the future is to always put the phone in bootloader mode before flashing (with any of the RUUs). It eliminates a step (and therefore a possible point of failure).

Heh, nope! Not hurting anything in there but no it should not be there--will be corrected.

Great explanation. I don't think I changed the theme or deleted the HTC theme. However, I did include the additional themes in my build. I will have to search to learn about the rgu file change thing because I have no clue what that means. Still a newbie sorta. I'm a flash and go kinda person. You guys have taight me a lot but I still have a lot to learn.

Is it possible to find out how large the files are so that the questions about the size of OEMs are not asked so much and the chances of me overbuilding my ROM are reduced? Can this be done buy unrar of the additional_OEM.rar and checking properties?(of course I would copy and paste to another location so I don't have to download rar again.)

You guys absolutely rock! I've not sank as much time and energy willingly as I have with the discovery of kitchens, ROMs, and the wonderful world of WM6.

With that said, I played with the kitchen, playing junior chef, and installed all sorts of goodness. The ROM is probably the most stable one my phone has seen since getting it out of the box (especially after disabling Windows Live today module).

One side effect that I have now is that my SD card is not shown in File Explorer or WMDC. Any known issues regarding? In the BuildOS, I selected SD Card only, since I only have a 2GB card and I didn't know what SDHC was. Once started up, I don't get the SD card/Storage Card item in my directory list under My Device. Any idea?

Thanks all!
