Re: New BuildOS - Report Bugs Here

Has anyone had problems with locking the device with a simple PIN and then rebooting? the device will lock up @ the unlock screen and the only way i can find to fix it is to plug in external power.

i've search through the forums but haven't seen this issue posted.

Thanks.

The 3.5.NET is now installed and pc rebooted - seems to be no help for me as the same errors result. Sure which I could work around this but it's not a major deal. I just have to continue my tinkering on my home PC.....unless you have some more ideas? Thanks!

Confrirmed to be a firewall issue, but I have now gotten a workaround. Thanks for all the help and the great community/tools.

Re: New BuildOS - Report Bugs Here

I'm using the newest build and trying to build a rom. When it gets to the point of actually building the rom I get an error that reads:

Unable to find an entry point named 'PreLoadMemoryFile' in DLL 'imgfstools.dll'.

If I click OK after that nothing happens. I'm running Vista Enterprise 32-bit and started BuildOS as administrator. Anyone know why I'm getting this error?

Re: New BuildOS - Report Bugs Here

Wrong imgfstools.dll. We're checking to see what went wrong.

EDIT: I don't see a problem with the downloads.
Do this:
1) edit (using your favorite text editor) "c:\program files\ppckitchen.org\buildos\updater\sections_buil dos.xml"
2) delete the lines starting with <SECTION name="buildos" (you will have 1 or 2)
3) run updater and select only the BuildOS update

Alternatively, you can uninstall/download/reinstall BuildOS.msi

Question Power Button while on the Phone?

Anyone seen this? Hit the power button while talking on the phone... If I do this, the screen goes black and never comes back without a soft boot no matter how many time I hit the power button or how long I hold it, but the phone keeps working till the other person hangs up... Is this a kitchen issue?
