You could try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=337521

You usually need to be logging into xda forums to download stuff, so the dll is attached here - let us know if it helps.
Excellent find. I had not seen this fix but it works like a charm. I see over at XDA there were a lot of questions on installation so to make it easy for everyone who wants to apply this fix you can do it a couple of ways.
1. Place file on your storage card. Use file explorer and copy file. Navigate to \windows folder and paste into folder.
2. I hooked up my USB. Opened my computer and navigated to Mobile Device---> My Windows Mobile-Based Device----> Windows and pasted the file into windows folder. Answer yes to replace file.

Scrolls so much better. Thanks schettj.

This is truly another fine Helmi_c work! This means I still don't have to pony up for a new 6800. Thanks again for your fine efforts!

Thanks to all who have had input into this kitchen!
When I try to launch Windows Mobile Live Search, I get the error message:

"The file "LiveSearch" cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file"

I've tried installing it both from the kitchen and also as a separate program install. I didn't install .net Framework in the kitchen. Does anyone know if .net Framework is required for Live Search to install?

you do need .net for this to work.

place the ppcgeeks oem in the root install folder (probably c:/BUILDOS) not in the user_OEM folder

heh - didn't realize that might cause confusion...we'll resolve that in a future release.

Downloaded it a few days ago, was running into issues and the once I RTFM I realized that I wasn't in my BuildOS directory for the Verizon Project File. Once I switched it to c:\buildos\tools\ I selected the correct project file and now I'm good to go.

I now have something to waste my Sunday away with - thank you very much everyone who made this happen - you guys friggin rock!!!!
