helmi new kitchen question

Ok, this is not a question to ask when it is coming out... so save the flames. I am curious though if anyone knows which CE build it will be based on. I am doubting that it would be based on the 1620 build since that is so old by now. I figure someone out there must know... or is it supposed to be a surprise?

I would think helmi's kitchen if constantly being tested. But by the kitchen team. Maybe some others i don't know. From what i have read. There are keeping track of all the bugs we are reporting about the VerizonGuys helmi kitchens. And Helmis roms. And I'm sure on other boards.

There probably trying to only release 1 kitchen. with maybe only patch fix's.
Instead of a new kitchen every other day.

As for verizonguy's kitchen. I hope it wont be abandon. His kitchen has been a lifeline for us. And he is doing an awesome job. (Thanks again VG) But the 6700 has run it's course. We are lucky to get 1 kitchen let alone 2.
Most people have moved on to bigger and better phone's. Except for us verizon users.

as to where the vg kitchen fits in, it'll be a bit outdated since it is 1620 and helmi's will be 1908. although, i guess that doesn't mean much if 1908 proves to be worse than 1620. I personally am using the "no junk" build right now and wont switch until the 1908 kitchen. the reason i was asking about version is simple. if it was gonna be a 1620 kitchen, i would stop holding my breath since the "no junk" build is perfect for me for now. but since it is 1908, it will have a lot to offer i suppose.

And the answer is:

Real soon. (you didn't really expect a date did you?)

OK, it'll be less than the 2 weeks guess, above.

The fate of VerizonGuy's kitchen is largely dependent upon how many people keep using it, how much he wants to keep working on it, and, of course, how well the official kitchen lives up to expectations.

It is a large shift from Verizon Guy's kitchen to the official kitchen. It would take a fair amount of work to bring Verizon Guy's kitchen to the same level. The actual ROMs produced are, of course, both WM6 roms based on helmi's work.

The Mogul kitchen will be released seperately
