I replaced the %CE2% with \Windows but is still did not work. So I used the switch accounts in the WLM gui to re-create my account and that did the trick!

Can you make these changes to your OEM?

Thanks for everything.

Nice catch. When I converted the new live cab to an oem package, I missed that.

Changing
Default=%CE2%\WLMContactsProvider.dll
to just
Default=WLMContactsProvider.dll
and
DLL=%CE2%\WLMMailTransport.dll
to
DLL=WLMMailTransport.dll

in the oem's rgu would fix the problem.

Granted this is a mute point now with the new kitchen being out

Verizon...your kitchen seems to be the only one that allows MMS to work for me ( I am on sprint) even in the new kitchen mms doesn't work for me ( I have verified all the server settings and no go) If I can get my hotmail working with your kitchen life will be great for me.

Can I just make those changes in the registry? Or do I have to make the changes in the kitchen and reload the ROM on my phone?

Verizon...speaking specificly about MMS do you know what the difference is between your kitchen and the new kitchen is? I loaded a rom from the new kitchen this morning and right out of the box my MMS did not work, all the server settings looked fine, but no go. I have loaded a rom from your kitchen about 4 times and it works right away every time ( same server settings ) I tried using your prj file in the new kitchen that errored out when creating the rom, I tried using your MMS OEM in the new kitchen that did not work either. Could there be a reg setting, or anything else you could think of? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Thanks Verizonguy for all the work you put into it. It was a fun learning experience for me to start with your kitchen. TBH I'm a little nervous using the new kitchen as I've got your last release working with my home cooked OEMs perfectly. Thanks again!!

You have created a great kitchen. I wonder if the new will be any better than this one???

I am curious though if anyone can help me on a separate issue. In WM5 when you are looking at your e-mail you can go to menu -> tools -> options than click on the storage tab and tell click the check box to have it store attachments on the mini-sd card to save space. I think with this version it mistakes the extended_rom2 as my storage card. Does anyone know of a way to get it to recognize my real storage card again? Thanks.
I hate to nag but does anyone have an answer for this.
