Ok, one more issue. Anyone tried beaming with IR to another phone. I tried to beam something to my dads 6700 and i lined them up and it wouldnt send it. both were set to receive and all, but wouldnt. then sometimes it sees it in BT and i can send it and it didnt see it either. He is running the helmi R3 release, im running from the latest WM6 kitchen 0.6b. thanks

IR Beam is broken in the original helmi releases.

Changelog
2007.10.28
Updated .06b to .06c
-Created oem packages for newest Live Search (voice activated) & an optional clock plugin.
-Changed default wireless manager to htc comm mgr.
-Disabled Clock title bar, re-enabling top battery icon
-Fixed missing wmodem & modemlink program menu shortcuts
-Hard resetting is no longer like a trip to the dentist for a root canal. Trucated welcome sequence on first boot to touch calibration only. You don't have to set the time, as I have the kitchen set to check network time automatically
-Adjusted the volume of dialpad tones to get dogs to stop attacking us.

thanks for the info on reliance prj..
and believe me a visit to the dentist isnt that bad... (at least the ones having a ppc6700 loaded with wm6).. they do the root canal as fast as 2.0 compares to wm6..lol..
hey have been using touch flo 1.4.1 since its release .. it takes very less system resources i think and is going good till now.. u can include it in ur next build as its working well without hicups in everything.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=338143
instead of installing the other scroll managers..
thanks again..

Was .6c posted? It's not there now.
Damnit. There should be some way for the person who posts it be able to "lock" it there so that it can't be deleted by anyone else.
Some of those changes sound tasty.
I really like how everything is running now, but in the spirit of testing these things out, I'll give this a try once it gets available again.

Peace.
[VG, you must have been typing at the same time as me... you just hit enter a few seconds earlier. Thanks again for all your hard work.]

Can you upload fixed files so that those who have already downloaded 0.6c don't have to download another 90MB file? Thanks.
