But I did make some packages for putting the send link in the sms and changing the soft key button to back in HTC Messaging.

A package for actually closing HTC Album when you hit the x button.

A package for 4 row start menu.

And a package for some Opera 9.7 tweaks. Like Hi res preview of previous pages when using the back button. Ability to have 6 tabs open in Opera. And haptic feedback when clicking a link.

The 3G switch in the Comm Manager now works 100%.

Nothing new or super exciting but just some things that I like to have around in the kitchen.


I also uploaded my initflashfiles.dat file. I cleaned up the start menu alot with it. Removed a few folders and Moved some links to better places in the start menu.. Just replace yours in OEM\LEO\0409\OEM_LANG_0409 folder.(That is the EVK Directory not sure where it is the the DIY Kitchen)

The initflashfiles.dat file goes into the same location in the DIY kitchen (for anyone lurking and curious)
The rest of the files put them into a file folder and put into the EXT file location of your choice just like the EVK, for the DIY kitchen. Thanks for the files, giving them a try in the DIY kitchen

Not sure if anybody needs it but figured Id share.

I modified the kitchen to cook T-Mobile Touch Pro 2 roms also. GSM ONLY.


Based on 2.13 TMOUS HD2 rom. I used a slightly older version of manila still 2.5.2012 because the TMO one didnt work. I also replaced one of the folders in the EXT to fix an error on first boot.

Works great. Flashed my girls Touch Pro 2 without any other problems.

Here the download. Just extract right in root of your EVK kitchen.

I'm new to this. I have a euro HD2 (non T-Mobile). Can i build a ROM based on this kitchen here for my euro HD2 ? If yes, whats with that extra 500 MB of memory ? Can i get this as well ?

You should be able to, I'm fairly sure. And as far as the extra memory, the rom should take care of it... As long as it's and HD2... There are problems however with the reverse, not all HD2 Euro roms can be flashed to the HD2 TMoUS.

Wow this thread has been left alone for 2 days.

Has anyone tried out the Rhodium addon I did.... Wanna make sure everything uploaded ok.

Im currently at a standstill cooking roms... I miss all the sys updates from several months ago. Every couple of days there was something new and exciting. Now Ive been on 23568 for some time now and the 23569 sys is the newest in that branch..

Has anyone built any roms from the WMD (28xxx) branch lately. Last I tried was some months ago when they started to have the issues with the HTC dialer. This was when I moved to the 235xx branch. Do they still have this issue??

Well the main reason Im currently at a standstill is the dialer. I cant for the life of me find the leo dialer with conference call and back button on the sides of the Talk/End button. What makes it really frustrating for me is that I used a vga port of the exact dialer I want for months on my touch pro. Now I actually have a leo and cant find the dialer.
Ive searched for about 2 weeks now and Ive downloaded so much stuff. Im now resorting to dumping the telstra rom to see if its in there. I heard it was for manila 2.5.1921 but Im not even sure. Next rom dump is the TMOUS rom with manila 2.5.1921 if nobody comes to the rescue..Please help Im trying to get this figured out tonight Ive wasted so much time, I cant even think of anymore keywords to google search.

Dialer, I did have a glitch with the 23569 build, but a soft reset took care of it. It seems when I start playing with the volume controls is when it appears.
Not sure about the Manilla 2.5.1921, I have only been using the manila from the HD2
Playing with the 21904 builds right now, but also looking into taking the original XIP files from the HD2 from 2.10 & 2.13 and finding what drivers are for the keyboard sensitivity settings.

I havent used COM2 in a while. i love the start button on the bottom.
I still am having no luck with the dialer. I pmd pyrorob over at xda who ported the leo canvas im looking for hopefully he gets back to me. I feel like such a noob looking for this canvas for this long.

Agreed, for my personal use I like COM5; but for "cooking for the masses" I also have a COM2 available. Good luck with the canvas, I'll do some looking and see what I can find.
