Re: Is it too late to be part of the Nexus One crowd?
OK here's the scoop.
First of all, Google isn't even selling it anymore so you'd have to get it used. There are rumors they are going to sell it with a TFT screen (instead of the AMOLED). The "new" version coming out in september looks to have the exact same specs, but with a keyboard. The "project emerald" phone has a 3.7" WVGA, Sense UI, Android 2.1, and a slide out qwerty, so coming from a pro2 this might be your best option. I'd still much rather rock a Samsung Vibrant. There is also rumored a "Desire HD" on tmobile which is basically a tmobile version of the Evo, but with better speeds (21MBPS on HSPA+). Honestly I still think the Nexus One is the best phone you can get on Tmobile. It came out way ahead of its time and is a sweet device. |

Re: Is it too late to be part of the Nexus One crowd?
Its sad but true. While the Nexus One is an amazing phone and can still hang with the big dogs i gotta say i wouldnt mind having a G2 or something like it. The Samsung Fascinate is lookin pretty good too (the whole GPS thing kinda bothers me though!!) I love my Nexus and i know ill always have the newest OS first but if i were to be just now getting a new phone id look elsewhere.

When you can't load any more apps on your phone, you have too many. Until [if] you reach that point, you're good.
