Re: nexus one hands on,video and first impressions!!!!
yeah i've been wondering if I should hold off and wait for the nexus. That processor seems to be the first solid one for the us unless we get the hd2.

Re: nexus one hands on,video and first impressions!!!!
roommate got Nexus One today.
It can receive texts and send picture MMS, but can't send a text. Fails every time. He's on the phone with HTC and T-mobile now. |

Probably because they made the phone. Just a guess.
I just took my Hero back to Sprint today and ordered my Nexus One. |

Re: nexus one hands on,video and first impressions!!!!
my roommate's problem turned out to be a very old SIM card that he had been using since 2000... It wouldn't support all of the phone's features. HTC guy figured it out (told T-mobile rep to get off the line), and the T-Mobile store gave him a new SIM and it works fine now.
Very fast, much faster than my Touch running Android 2.0.1! It feels good, the screen feels nice and is responsive. The soft buttons at the bottom are difficult but then I'm used to using my finger nails for the screen and that won't work on the capacitive screen. I do like the trackball (dingleberry). And the changes to Android 2.1 are pretty nice. Android navigation is still a bit clunky to me. Phone felt great though, nice size too. |
