Let's just say I've been with them for 10-11 years and I'm the type of guy would will tell them as it is if I have an issue. So, I have a file a mile long and I could almost write a book for all the problems I have had with them over the years.

Last problem was about a Network Extender (coverage is spotty by my home), and even tho I am 5-7 feet away from the extender, I'll drop a call. I was told they could boost the sginal and told someone could do it within 24 hours, 4 days later I'm still waiting for them to do something after trying to call every other day.

It's a wonder how companies stay in buisness with this type of customer service. This is my problem with Verizon.

The Trophy is a nice phone but, with new (2nd gen) WP7 devices hitting this fall, I'm not willing to sign a 2 year contract for a mid line phone. If they still offered a 1 year, I'd be fine with it.

I figure about $350-400 would be what I could get the phone off contract within 2 weeks of release. I'll wait, get it off contract and not worry about it.

at least you aren't getting between dialup and edge level 3G speeds like I've been getting for almost 4 months now. a couple weeks ago i was getting true 3G speeds but they have since gone back to this shit level. im bout to call them and ask for another credit as this is getting quite frustrating. im not paying $97 for EDGE when im supposed to be getting EvDO.

just called my local vzw they have the trophy on display hope theyll sell me one if they got it. sounds like they will have some in the store tomorrow. ill try to snap a few pics.

Where can you get it online? I can't find it anywhere.

Edit: Wow...just went done to my local Verizon store and one guy hasn't even heard of it before and the other said there isn't an offical release date yet so he doesn't know when they'd get one. Nice.

I just called the *611 and was able to order the Trophy today for delivery tomorrow. I paid $199 less NE2 $30 and then the mail in rebate. Call and keep calling until you get someone that will order via phone today.

Where exactly did you find it a day before it's release ? If Verizon has it for 409.99, we are getting screwed by paying $199 before rebate, they'll give you a Thunderbolt ($749.99 full retail) for $199.

The Trophy was designed to be given away free with contract (look on the GSM trophy fourms).

I guess I'm right, figuring I'll find it on-line (not at verizon) off contract for $250-350 about a week later and that I can life with (even tho I want it now right away)

If you have it or have seen it in person, does it have the S-LCD or is it a standard LCD ?
