I don't like not having smart dialing either, but going to People and Search can be just as fast as going to Phone, Dialer, then searching. Screen size varies between phones. I'm happy with the Surround's screen size, but I don't do much web surfing on it. The Evo is too big for me, even my Captivate was borderline, but everyone has their own opinions on screen sizes ![]() It honestly took me about 2 weeks for WP7 to really grow on me, and now I like it and I'm not sure I could go back to Android...I definitely can't go back to WM. The only thing pulling me back to Android are the app choices really, but hopefully it'll grow fast with WP7.

Yeah... And that's the ONE good reason I'm actually glad Sprint didn't get the phone on release day. The 7Pro will have a 1500 battery and a smaller screen. But I may hold out till a second/third phone hit Sprint. That way I can have a better base.
Thanks for sharing. p. |

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 8.12; MSIEMobile6.0) Sprint T7380)
wp7 is not meant for tweekers. it is a simplified os for button pushers (the mass market). eventually, it may get opened up for other modifications. |

Within 2 days of the release of "Windows Consumer Fisher Price Platform 7" (copyright) some smart SOB would have designed a theme that looks exactly like it on winmo or a way to dual boot and everyone could have been happy. Open the code up M$ and give us back our platform! All it really needed was new hardware and a little TLC... lol. Oh well... maybe release 2.0 will impress Last edited by dprout69; 12-09-2010 at 10:07 AM. |
