2) The reason why M$ got through the market was 2 things, 1) they paid developers money to make the games..aka bribe...that won't work here because Google is already doing the bribing (its actually one of the reasons Google broke through with Android) and also a lot of game publishers were frustrated with Sony and they lost a bunch of exclusives...

Yes but that whole bribing thing left microsoft with about 3 exclusives.Instead of buying game companies like sony or maybe ea, they cut short term deals that work against them in the long wrong. Thats why nintendo and sony will (for at least the next 4-5 years) have more 1st party exclusive games. It wasn't that game 'developers' not publishers were frustrated with sony. Its simply that microsoft was first with next gen hardware.Lesser competition= larger consumer base. Microsoft is a great company and some of their products are great. I feel that the problem is that they're too ****y. Instead of building trust and loyalty with their partners and the consumers who buy their products. They simply drop support or block features only to charge you for later. Throwing money around doesn't guarantee success.

Well, these are more or less UI limitations I am talking about. When I say this next part, I may sound heartless and cruel, but don't take it the wrong way please. People need to learn how to use touch screens, or we wouldn't have WM7 5 buttons on a single screen and toilet paper scrolling.
IMO.

Sounds to me like too many of us are taking the reviews that we have seen as the gospel. We don't seem to be thinking for ourselves made obvious by the fact none of us have had our hands on a WP7 device as yet. Most of the shortcomings pointed out by the reviewers are things that I don't care much about or would utilize that much. I'm not a power user; I'm a person that want's the system to operate simply enough to do the things I want to do. I for one look forward to growing with WP7 hardware and software wise over the next few months.:tshirt:

I'm going to need to have one in my grubby hands before I decide.

I probably won't give up android but I will give wp7 a try. If it turns out to be great then I might get it for my wife. Wp7 is already getting the netflix app which android still doesn't have. That's a plus for microsoft. They are getting alot of developer support. Hopefully its a good os. If it is then that means more choices and hopefully lower prices for consumers.

Like I've said all along... I'm getting one and will be happy to consider myself almost a beta user. Already they have found a few "glitches" in Europe and I thnk MS is taking note for the next release.
Nothing big. But noted.

Looks like sales are still going strong in Europe.. if only the manufacturers could keep up with the demand.

Windows Phone sold out in the UK, supply constraints continue
