What does an interview officer have to do with anything...a company can easily go abroad and then no one can question them...and M$ keeps your info longer then 1 year...they keep it as long as the account is open and a bit after that.

ME is the worst OS MS came out with and admitted it.. wtf does ME have to do with vista? MS proved there is nothing wrong with vista by doing the mojave or whatever test it was they did and showed the public the OS is fine. plus hardware vendors always pay for licensing, it's been like that forever. I guess MS was asking for too much especially when it takes millions upon millions in salaries to come up with an OS right?

I have nothing against Vista..as I said I had an ME computer so I can't complain...the issue with it if anything was it was uncomfortable to use by experienced users due to the lock down and its gfx requirements.

MS is much better and much more honst google has ever been. MS is no angel but comparing google to MS i like comparing a car theif (MS)to a terrorist (google)

Yes M$ admits it is evil and Google "pretends" to be good but deep down is trying to conquer the world I know...and comparing a car thief to a terrorist is a bad example..because many terrorists are not "evil" just ignorant and thinks what they are doing is right..the car thief knows what he is doing is wrong and does it anyways...

windows 2000 server is where MS started killing linux, not 2003. they continued with 2003.

Ahm..win2000 is no way a killer of linux...I know because I am actually responsible for buying web servers and I can tell by the offerings that windows2000 was no where there..The high end market had no reason to migrate and the low end market didn't bother to much due to lack of virtualization and control panels on the platform.

edit: please find me a 2002 system that is vista ready or certified.. uneducated!

Well I had this old Averatec 2200 that has a label "Vista Capable" and a via chipset that probably would be outperformed by a netbook :/..it was in no way Vista capable and it had the best customization features..if I had lower Id imagine how horrid it would be.

Who wants to develop for a failing/failed Flash competitor that is quickly becoming irrelevant in the face of HTML5, SVG, and CSS3?

As a web developer i got a good chuckle out of this. In the face? LoL. HTML5 is projected to be ready around 2020. Sorry Steve Jobs, you may have jumped the gun on the whole "flash is dead" concept. iPhones and iPads will have to wait quite a while. Gosh, CSS moves even slower. Who knows when it will be truly be a standard.

Personally, i think this petition is a bit silly. I am still excited for WP7. Can't stand iPhone. Can't stand Android. In my opinion MS is finally on a roll with a number of products. I am hopeful for a great handheld device and look forward to checking it out.

That list isnt even accurate. For instance, there WILL be selective multi-tasking. Flash IS coming, and I am sure someone will figure out a way to offer some other things such as the USB storage.

love the iphone hardware but because of what i do i need my handheld to integrate with my pc seamlessly. iphone doesn't play nice. So it is basically a toy with cool apps to me.

Android is growing on me, but Google irritates me as well and has taken a similar route. Again, i need more seamlessness with my pc. I do not want to be forced to used all things google either. Why? Who knows, it may be principle since i don't care too much for google for my own reasons. I do admit that i like it more and more. My wife, dad and roommate all have the motorola droid - very cool. I love windows 7 and rely on many windows programs in my daily life and prefer having a device that wants to play nice with windows.

WP7? Now we are talking! Seamless integration, not only with my pc but everything else i care about like my xbox live account, social networking, bla bla bla on top of fantastic performace, magnetometor, multi-touch bla bla bla. Like the above post, some of the supposed negatives are not accurate. November can't come fast enough for me.
