A lot of our devices probably can but Microsoft wants to make sure it only runs on devices that can run it to it's fullest ability. If they allowed it to run on our phones people like you would be shitting on it for not running as smoothly as the higher end phones. Another no win situation for Microsoft.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiight. And carrier reps never lie or over exaggerate. I only know a couple people with Android devices and no others are considering it that I'm aware of. And people are working to get it on our devices because it's new and a new toy to play with. Just like other UI's. Android is to the mobile market what Linux is to the desktop market.

I think that WP7 looks nice and that it will be more successful than any of the other editions of winmo. But I don't think we can look at it as an upgrade over 6.5. It's just a completely different platform.

Personally, I don't think I'll get one. I love the look of the UI, but like most people here (I think), I enjoy messing with my phone. It doesn't look like I'd be able to do that on a WP7 device.

What phones have they crippled? Tell me how the Touch Pro 2 is crippled compared to the one on say Sprint?
