the problem is that HTC cant make more money if you are "happy" with your device....

its a never ending chain till they drop the ball and make something too perfect instead of steady small upgrades so they ensure people keep buying. Like sony did with the PS3. Analists say that thing is so powerful that its gonna be a long time till people consider upgrading to a new device and sony might be stuck till new tech is released

I get an annual upgrade with VZN too so I can still get the a new phone at the 2 year contract price, but if I actually wait the full 20 months of the 2 year contract I get an extra 100.00 off of the 2 year contract price. I think I'll hold out just long enough to get one of the phones with the 1ghz processors and hopefully that wont be totally obsolete in a year lol.

exactly! this is what i've been saying about apple for years but now it seems everyone else is starting to do it. can't do everything at once b/c what'll you sell next year? nothing, so we have to wait 3 years for the iphone that does what the 1st one should've, samething with the nano/touch camera fiasco
