Re: Cricket EVDO only "dial-up"?

try 3.42.30 before trying the verizon .50 version.. just to be safer..

you may have to set up your PST over again after the flash, i dunno... never did a swap to cricket.

Re: Cricket EVDO only "dial-up"?

Alright, I'll probably check it out tomorrow. Thanks again.

Just making sure: You said I might want to try the Verizon radio, but are you sure I should use that if I'm on Cricket? But yeah, I'll test out the different radios like you said. But I also want to be clear again: If I flash a new radio, I just do it from the bootloader using the SD card file renaming method, right? And I don't need to change any settings or anything after that, no other steps?

EDIT: Oh, I didn't realize you made all those replies. Alright, thanks.

Re: Cricket EVDO only "dial-up"?

well i'm not sure if your settings stay put for PST, but you've done that before and if you have to redo it, that wont be a problem..

and yeah, Verizon released an updated radio and i'm using it on my Vogue with Sprint. I didn't have to do a thing.

Yes, the same way you'd flash a rom... take the .nbh and name it TITAIMG.nbh

Make sure u use the ones from the ftp i provided, the .50 was ported over and thats the proper one. Don't just use any one you find cuz it might still be for Vogues.

keep me posted

you are completely right... dial up only means #777... it has to dial to get on the evdo network... dial up for evdo does not mean dial up like 56k
