That's pretty much exactly what happened to me. They claimed to "have" a touch replacement even though the unit is backordered. So I have to go back into the store for a fourth time next week.....

yawn.. it's all the fraudulent activities that's been going on. and the implosion of people bricking their phones. and of course you have htc just not making phones fast enough.

I wouldn't doubt it but what can we do about it, I myself would never consider anything of the sort...

I had a silmilar problem and wrote ecare(dan@sprint.pcs) a very detailed letter expressing my frustration. I received a new Diamond via next day shipping.

to anyone having problems with their phones and are getting the run-around do this:email sprint and explain in a very detailed email what's going on and for goodness sakes,BE NICE.they will take care of you.
