Anyone Know if and or when the HTC Touch HD will be released in the good old US OF A?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had any information about the HTC Touch HD , and if and when Sprint would get it? I have HTC ELF and love it to death! but was checking out the Diamond and really liked it and ran into some information about the HD and it looks pretty sharp and I like the larger screen. And was just wondering before I purchased the Diamond , If the HD would be released anytime soon? If so I'd rather hold off and wait for it! (Going to have to be a pretty awsome phone before i retire my elf lol) Any information would be much appreciated Thanks in advance!
