Re: Where's all the Alltel'ians?

I have lots of family memebers on Alltel and would like to see more info on here about the network and issues that may be coming up or being resolved. I to am surprised at the lack of user responses from the Alltel network.

Re: Where's all the Alltel'ians?

We are a lil outnumbered by our sprint cousins, but we have better and more stable roms. Everytime Alltel comes out with a new rom, sprint and verizon users put it into their customs.
Lenny, I'll do my best to do less lurking and more responding. BTW, thanks for your work on getting MMS working with 6.1.

No problem.... It's just, there are 198 listed Alltel user's on this site, and like only 5 - 10 tops even close to 50-100 posts. Sheesh... I just dunno anymore...

Naaah - I think there are actually MORE of us - we just don't have to speak up and ask questions as often; kinda like how the majority of folks are conservative, but it's the liberals who continually capture the news, lead in poll numbers, etc - but lose more often than not - but I digress...

Yes, Alltel's "official stance" on an "official" rom update is "we are working on it - no eta" - not even a guess. I say they're lucky to have it out by end of the year knowing them! So those of you who want to use the GPS on your 6800's, ya better poke around, read & learn how to use one of the modified versions of the latest official sprint ROM....its pretty easy - and pretty solid (at least the DCD version that I'm running is!)

i'll have to agree with about 99.9% of that. No2Chem has much better roms that dcd's... If you notice, No2Chem helped dcd get to the point he's at now...
