Ha! Titan to TP2. What is it about those two phone

(I went the same path). Anyways, the site is done. Personally I never had any luck building a good TP2 rom because all the files were old. I personally suggest using SharkieROM (not sure if he does a GSM version) or EnergyROM CDMA GSM

Personally, I used Sharkie. Now I just run Android on my TP2.

Thanks, and before that was an apache, all great phones, and until Tom Tom is on Mango will stay with WM6.5. I found a build by Jackos so will give those a try. Funny how you don't realise how much you miss something until it's gone

would be great to still be able to access the apps that BuildOS had.

It's nice to see so many people cared about our work. It was a lot of fun. Ppck ran its natural course and was around for quite a while. When android came out we lost a big chunk of our userbase and then when MS stopped development of windows Mobile 6.5 it didn't make sense to continue on.

P.S. We blame Lenny for the downfall of windows mobile (and anything else we can) and Nex for ruining all of our women.

If I already have PPCKitchen on my PC, is there a way to run it without the server?
I was just starting to have fun with it, and now I can't log in anymore.

Probably, but it's author designed it so that you have a chance to donate via login to his authentication server.

Happens to me too, about 2 out of 3 times I try. Just keep on trying, not try after try, leave a day or so in between tries. GguruUSA's server apparently goes down often, though he has said he intends to keep it up, here:

i know this is a way OLD thread --

Can the author simply put this up for open source or freeware or something? There's a lot of things these old phones are still useful for and the BuildOS makes life so much easier...

doing a kitchen manually is so cumbersome and tedious, this made things so easy.

The owner of the concept and the files still has them on his personal server. He would need a home for these files if they were to be made publicly available again. As I recall, more is needed than a simple ftp.
