You may want to consitor you bitrate on your songs that you are attempting to play.. standard 192k (near CD quality) might be a little to cumbersome for your device.. Maybe if you dropped down to 128k.. I do not know how great of quality you are looking for.

thats very true, i keep all of mine at 128kbps, i have some vids that are like 800-900kbps, and they skip horribly unless i run xpuscaler to 624.

Working from home due to horrible weather, so I have a little time on my hands today...

Anyway, I may have found the problem. I installed the Today Screen dialer and google search bar a while back, but both were giving me problems, so I stopped using them. I thought I deleted them, but after installing and not liking Mort Player I saw that both programs were still on my phone! I deleted them and so far so good!
