Re: Play the music on my phone in the car?
Sorry to revive an old thread, but it seemed better than starting a new one, since the title seems to fit!
A van I'm driving for my day-job has a bad radio, the owner doesn't want to replace it. So I'm stuck in silence during the hours I do that job. I was thinking of using a car audio amplifier, connecting it to the speakers to power them and hooking my phone to the amp on the other end. Just wondering of anyone has done anything like this? Has any ideas? Would this work? Also, if it is something that could work, I am looking for something as simple and inexpensive as possible. Would welcome suggestions!

Re: Play the music on my phone in the car?
what would you do if you had speakers installed, no radio (and don't want to purchase a radio)? Is there a way to power the speakers and use my Titan as the source for music?

I don't think you could hook up your phone to the van's speakers without a radio. Your only option might be those small external speakers that are sold for mp3 players. They aren't very loud and don't sound too good though.

It would work, in theory. Any one have any other ideas or thoughts? Would love to hear them. |
