No accelerometer support for LG Fathom?

To my surprise, none of the apps (utilities and yes, games) that made use of the accelerometer on my HTC Touch Pro, work on my new LG Fathom.

I had thought that the accelerometer support would be thru some standard Win Mobile interface. I guessed wrong. Apparently all apps that make use of an accelerometer do so thru a proprietary HTC interface called htcsensorsdk.dll. Of course, only HTC Win Mobile phones have this.

I have seem some very smart coders hack together an equivalent for other WinMobile devices like the Omnia I.

Does anyone know of any such work, but for the LG Fathom?
