No accelerometer support for LG Fathom?
 

To my surprise, none of the apps (utilities and yes, games) that made use of the accelerometer on my HTC Touch Pro, work on my new LG Fathom. :angry7:

I had thought that the accelerometer support would be thru some standard Win Mobile interface. I guessed wrong. Apparently all apps that make use of an accelerometer do so thru a proprietary HTC interface called htcsensorsdk.dll. Of course, only HTC Win Mobile phones have this.

I have seem some very smart coders hack together an equivalent for other WinMobile devices like the Omnia I.

Does anyone know of any such work, but for the LG Fathom? :scratch:

I just got this phone too, I didn't know about that issue but, I'd imagine it'll help if we had a forum for the LG fathom

Yes, you are right. I have the same problem with LG Fathom. Previously I had Samsung Omnia II and I could play Asphalt 4 HD with accelerometer with it, but I can't play Asphalt with accelerometer anymore LG Fathom's accelerometer problem:(

If your are going to access the internet thought mobile by connecting to laptop which equal to dial up connection. its waste... try with the TATA USB modem its roaming free.
