You don't have to use activesync to flash a ROM.

ANother thing about flashing new ROMs if you mess it up it's possible that you could brick your phone and it becomes useless. With the iPhone, if you mess up the jailbreak you can always get it back to a working state and start over.
Some of the things I have read on here about people flashing new ROMs and messing them up as made me not flash too many new ROMs when I had my WM phones...

I have no problem with the iphone, my problem is with many of the brainwashed users that refuse to see the flaws of the device. How much has the phone REALLY changed from its initial release, yet there have been like 4 generations... to add cut and paste and video???

AT&T sucks for data AND they won't let you insure the phone. That alone is a dealbreaker for me.

Just doesnt do "IT" for me, It was never really a phone that jumped out at me n MADE me want it. Maybe cuz I got a 30 GB iPod.... I dunno, I got a Touch Pro 2 and LOVE It. You can do alotta coo stuff with it.

I just got rid of mine, and got a Tilt 2.

The people that say "such and such phone is the BEST phone out there" clearly does not do the research needed to make that statement. THere is no ONE best phone on the market.
All the phones can accomplish the same things, which one may require to do it in a different way, but ultimately they are pretty much the same.
Each phone has it's pros and cons. People should get the phones that they want and be happy with it instead of trying to defend it in, what I say as a, useless debate about which phones are better......

well, i thougt the touch screen is a huge flaw, too. I mean who wants to continually press a screen to navigate, there should just be huge, bumpy buttons instead of this sleek touch screen, it’s a huge one and hope they get rid of the touch screen completely in the 3G iPhone.
