The demo phone in the att store near me is PACKED! I swear to god it has EVERY APP. when i picked it up and looked my jaw made contact with the floor...yea it was a little slower but not too much

The basic deal with the iphone is I know so many people who get bored with it after 2 weeks. The UI gets old, not being able to remove a battery (and by the way, you can get a 1340mah for a diamond for like $10) is a pain.

the obvious contract issues are worth considering.

ultimately if you want that iphone, go ahead and get it, nothing wrong with a preference, but before you spend that much money on a phone you might get really bored with really fast, I suggest you play with someone's for a couple days or see if you really still like it.

remember almost any iphone app is available on wm, mostly for free, and there are a lot of wm apps you can't get on the iphone. But I would just go with your gut, there are some redeeming values about the iphone, just not enough for me to not have what I deem a better phone.


And if the diamond2 makes it to sprint ever, it is much more preferable over a 3Gs.

or any gsm network for that matter.

Like I keep saying, both types of devises are good gadgets. Both have their pros and cons (nobody can deny that).
Anything an iPhone can do, there are ways to do on a WM phone and vise versa.

really mostly bored, seeing if I can become the last poster in all the threads in this one....plus I hate to see when somebody is bashing either the WM phones or iPhones, when they both are good just for different people.....

true enough, I guess there's always going to be a bias either way, depending on what you want in a phone and how cool you want to be you have to decide which phone is right for u.

Too me it's nothing about the "being cool" factor. I need/want a device that will do what I want/need it to do.
I will see what each one can do, which each one has to offer, which each one is easier for me to use (with the interface) and make my choice based on that.

win mobile has its uses and the iphone has its aswell, im a happy iphone and winmobile user, i use both, although the iphone does handle things alot better than win mo imo.....and does all of the same things including more, hell i use my iphone to find closes gas stations with augmented apps. win mo cant do that yet at least. i use both for wireless routers both are very good at it. i use my tp and tp2 for routers. tp just overheats too fast. i used to hate the iphone i mean dispise it!!!!!!!! untill i got it as a gift from my gf, a 32gb 3gs, i wanted to flush it down the toilet, but as i started using it its awsome, so i say to some winmo users u never know how something is until u use it. im not on the iphone bandwagon at all belive me, but its a good device.
