Scott-

I dont know if I did something wrong, but I did a VERY thorough wipe and put 2.1 on. I use Launcher Pro Plus to get a sense-like agenda widget on both of my optimus S's. It worked before the update, but after installing the new rom, the agenda widget will not update. I downloaded GO Launcher EX and tried that calendar and it won't sync, either.

When I go in to manually sync calendar, the sync arrow spins briefly, then stops for about 15-20 seconds, then disappears.

I tried over 3G and Wifi and I just can't get it to sync.

Do you use any of these tools?

Hmmmm.... Thats not good. Thats something i will have to try and reproduce. Can you link to me from the market the apps involved so i can try? I got a lot on my plate with the Evo 3D right now but i will try to look into this within the next few days.

Scott - I think I have it figured out. It's some kind of google issue. Perhaps there was a server issue or something -- I don't know. I uninstalled gmail and reinstalled it. I then installed the stock calendar app and re-chose the calendars I wanted to sync. Then I added back the launcher pro plus agenda widget and it synced right up. Weird. But. Fixed. I don't think it had anything to do with cleanROM...

Oh, and by the way, there is an EVO3D sitting on the desk next to me. Stock/Unrooted. For now.

My guess would be no, but can 2.1 be flashed over 1.2 with only a cache/dalvik cache wipe? Thanks

Hmmmm... I would have to say yes you can... because the core changes of the ROM took place in /system (which is auto formatted during install.) so a cache wiping method might just work fine. ON the other hand with the relocation of Dalvik cache... It could possibly fail. I can only say give it a try... Of course always back up before trying this if you are worried about loosing data.

Let me know how it works out for you.

Worked flawlessly and freed up quite a bit of internal storage room. Needless to say, I did a nandroid backup, but I'll post here if I run into any problems. Thanks
