If we had a choice I guess it would be different. But we don't and I'm not switching back a moto razor because of this. All in all it's good post of info for some and others not so much.

If people still don't realize that when things are free, it is YOU that is the product... ...then I don't think they're ready for this technology.

You do have a choice...don't use the app. I've seen quite a few apps that had updates where the users did not install or uninstalled because of the permissions. The developers took notice that the users would no longer use their apps and removed the permissions. Not every developer is going to do this but at least we know what the apps are going to be accessing on our phones. I wonder how many people think twice about what might be in the custom rom they are getting ready to flash??
