Re: HTC Incredible, how many switching?
I turned off my Imagio today when I bought the Incredible. What a huge difference in response going from the sluggish WinMo platform to the Incredible.
We'll see how I get along with droid but so far, in the short 13 hours that I've had the droid its all been good! R |

Re: HTC Incredible, how many switching?
I switched from the Imagio to the Incredible so I could leave behind the WM lag, freezes , and soft resets , and lack of memory and to enjoy speed , stability , ease of use , thousand of apps and a great looking phone with many possibilities .

Re: HTC Incredible, how many switching?
its ok to have both, my tp2 gets used everyday also, something has to hold these papers down while people walk by my desk honestly everytime i pick up my tp2 and have to scroll through it, thats the biggest pain, too too slow.

Re: HTC Incredible, how many switching?
I've switched, and it has taken some time to adjust to the limited "tweakability" as of the moment (come 'on root!). However, the processor, more RAM and stability of Droid 2.1 makes the tele a keeper. The Incred is not a perfect tele, but it does what it can do well, and the screen is snappy, responsive and brilliant.
Now that being said, I still carry my TP2! I cannot wifi share on the Incred ,and the TP2 is not yet outdated in comparison to the Droid. There are some thing that I prefer with my TP2 (tweaking, setting wallpaper, file management, being able to write a note for a few). However, I feel that Droid is the OS of the future, and I think MS will probably fail with Win Mo 7…so I am sticking with Droid…for the moment! |

Re: HTC Incredible, how many switching?
Well I was thinking that I would wait to see hows the windows seven phones would be but after reading about how restrictive it will be I have decided to jump ship from this rather pathetic Verizon Touch Pro. I have a couple of questions is this phone capable of a VPN conection and remote desktop that works good?I also need a streaming radio player for my daily dose of political satire. Man I have never in my life heard so many excuses for a phone that flat out should never have been released to the public at large. Android Incredible here I come! Hey I was told by the Verizon sales Guy who put me on the waiting list that they had some trouble in the Mfg. process and that is holding things up too? Has anyone heard anything like that? The last thing I need is another two years of excuses.......
