A Kichen is for creating custom roms. That is why it's not "complied". If your are looking for a complete rom download cfay's. If you want to build your own, use this kitchen.

Help!!!!!!

*Gulp* Must've done something wrong.

Cooked a ROM, created it, flashed it, and..... Windows starts up, but desktop stays empty, wait cursor is frozen on screen, and device is frozen. And, since it is frozen, I cannot connect to WMDC to re-flash with a functioning ROM. Help? Please?

HELP!!!!!

WHEW! That scared me.

Anyhow, guess I posted a bit too quickly (but, wouldn't you if you were in my situation and a serious rookie?). Anyhow, manually put device into bootloader screen and started the ROM Update tool. Now it seems to be flashing normally. We'll see.

Re: CDMA Treo Pro Kitchen WM6.5 build 21857

Is everything working on this version? PAM? Wait curser bug gone? etc.? CFAY just released a new improved version of his 6.5 rom (1.52) but it is an older WM build with lots of bugs squashed. Just curious if the bugs in his original 6.5 release have been fixed in this version since it is many builds newer.

It's using a 6.1 Kernel. There is no 6.5 native kernel for the Treo Pro.

NightRaven, do you know any info on if there has been any updates on the ROM/Kitchen? Like WM 6.5.1 for instance.

Re: CDMA Treo Pro Kitchen WM6.5 build 21857

Thanks NightRaven for the 6.1 ROM. I have a few questions.

Is the ROM taken from the Alltel TP? I notice I have a extra MB of free Program Memory on startup, and the start menu is not loaded with programs.

Are any of the reg edits or hacks from this thread in the ROM?

How do you create EXT Packages? I tried using Kitchen Converter, but the programs are not launching when clicked.
