CFay 6.5 Rom! CEOS 5.2.21324 ! Windows Mobile 6.5! 1.54 FINAL Uploaded with Fixes.

I have gotten eBag's RealVGA to load and run well at 96dpi with all of CFay's versions of WM6.5 (BTW, thank you CFay for all your effort). However, IE will not launch on any of the versions of WM6.5 with RealVGA at 96dpi, and although Opera 9.7b1 launches, it "self exits" on loading anything beyond the simplest webpages. I'd hate to go back to WM6.1, but I'd hate giving up 96dpi even more, and I need a web browser.

Has anyone gotten any respectable web browser to work with WM6.5 at 96dpi?

Is anybody cooking a version of WM6.5 with 96dpi?

Any and all help would be appreciated. Would love to use WM6.5. Thanks.

Have you given opera mini or skyfire a try? Let me know if they work because id love to use real vga also.

Quick bug report: I loaded version 1.52 yesterday and found some applications that will not work at all with it:
1) QuickGPS will not launch, hence no GPS for me.
2) I regularly use PockeTwit as my Twitter client, but it will not go beyond the account configuration stage. I've uninstalled it and tried other clients (Quakk, Twittula and Twobibe) with the same result. Whenever the program tries to update the feed, it crashes.

I'm thinking a critical part of the .net platform was left out from this build. Will test and report back on this.

You are correct I believe, I too am having major issues with this Final. I even tried installing .net and it errors out....this is kinda major for me. Hopefully it can be corrected or I will be forced to go back to 6.1 I guess.

Well, I tried reinstalling the 3.5 .NET CF and it errors out :/

IF I get the time, I might deconstruct the ROM and swap out the .NET folder for the one in the previous build (1.0), see if that works.

Deconstruct: impossible with the way I built it.
Net3.5 is already cooked in hence the error.

When I said error, I meant install error. I dont own a Treo anymore, all my time/resources are going into the TP2 now.

I'm having the same problems as the rest and I'm reflashing to 6.1 because of it...

I'm very disappointed because I really like 6.5 from what I've seen of it but I rely on applications that just won't run...

I too have gone back to 6.1, alot of work was put into the CDMA unlocker and 6.5 rom and I do appreciate it but it just isn't working out. I don't understand what changed from the first 5.2.21324 but whatever it was, it made alot of software useless.
