Re: +++RaiderROM! WM 6.5.3 [9/14/2010]+CLEAN ROM
I am trying to load the Raider ROM but I am slightly confused on how to load. I have unlocked phone and verified 0.36.CMONEX. I have loaded other roms that carry ROMUpdateUtility.exe files that start update and reboot phone with new 6.5 update. Instructions say to download ROM, not sure where to download, desktop computer, or put file on phone, if so where? As other roms carry an .exe file, how do I use/load/execute this .rar file? Would really like to load but just learning and not sure what to do with the Raider ROM.

i installed the latest RealVGA rom and it seems to be missing finger buttons, several themes, etc.
the lock screen is also a very bland keypad... also finding the vibrate switch on top does not put the phone into vibrate mode. is this a known bug or can i fix this? Did I mess something up? Last edited by Enzomatrx; 09-22-2010 at 08:14 PM. |

Re: +++RaiderROM! WM 6.5.3 [9/14/2010]+CLEAN ROM
yes. I was running the realvga build prior to this one (I think you removed it) and it was great.
There were a bunch of home screen themes included in it, and fingermenu was installed, and the lockscreen for Windows Mobile 6.5 was the slider. This is how the lockscreen looks with the uploaded ROM (found image elsewhere): http://www.mydigitallife.us/password%20with%20911.JPG the boot screen is also the default PALM and orange Windows logo. I grabbed it from the first link in the first post: MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service Redownloaded it 3 times as well. The vibrate switch is odd in that I can turn it to vibrate mode and it will vibrate for notifications of missed calls, texts, etc. But it will not vibrate when the phone rings. I confirm this by setting the physical switch to vibrate mode, then hitting the "sound/volume" button in the upper taskbar. The upper taskbar still says sound is "on", so incoming calls do not make the phone vibrate. I set the sound icon to "vibrate" and it works as expected. It's like it ignores the physical vibrate switch. the 128dpi version seems to have everything but I really like the RealVGA on the Treo Pro. It lets me actually see menus. |

thanks!
I'll give this a shot at some point; I put the 128dpi one on in place of the broken lockscreen and have just been loving it. I miss the RealVGA but it's working so damn well I don't want to jinx it! |

Still loving the 128dpi unfortunately so can't make the plunge to reflashing... the 128 is just running perfectly. Question though, the theme in those screenshots for the RealVGA... is there a CAB for that? The only theme that seems to work 100% on the 128dpi is the included "KenChan M8 V3.1 HVGA" |
