Re: +++RaiderROM! WM 6.5.3 [04/27/2011]

I found the plmo.mid ringer locked reg key after installing http://palmone.r3h.net/downloads.pal...ngerUpdate.CAB

If someone knows how to tear that cab open perhaps we can narrow down the cause of the issue.

From palm "this update corrects the registry if it finds it is corrupted and helps prevent further registry corruption."

Maybe there is some small app in memory that keeps it from changing ?

Re: +++RaiderROM! WM 6.5.3 [04/27/2011]

Raider,

Unfortunately, I've found two other issues that are just wacky.

1. No matter what I set the ringer to, it always defaults to the "Treo" ringer. I've tried an MP3 from the device itself and a built-in ringtone without success

2. The phone doesn't vibrate at all. I know that the vibrate feature is good because when being switched into silent mode the phone vibrates successfully. I've tried using the manual switch on top (the phone will vibrate then to indicate it's in silent mode), just turning the ringer all the way down, and leaving the ringer at full volume. My settings are configured for the phone to vibrate whether the ringer is on or off.

The solution to my last issue (with the ringer not ringing after the data provisioning was installed) was that I manually created the #777 internet connection. Maybe these issues are related to the missing plmo.mid and to solve this vibrate/non-changing ringer issue I need to create this missing file.

Edit:No joy. Renamed one of the .mid files in the windows directory to plmo.mid and soft reset; still having the same issue with the vibration and non-changing ringer.

If there's anything I can do to help or troubleshoot further, just let me know.

Thanks again!,

Frank

That is interesting, unfortunately i do not even have sprint service anymore so i cannot test any ringer issues and since it seems the latest ROMS caused a non-fixable issue I have taken the links down. I do not forsee me producing anymore ROMS for the Treo Pro, thanks to everyone who donated and helped make it better! Long Live Windows Phone 7

Re: +++RaiderROM! WM 6.5.3 [04/27/2011]

Raider:

Is it possible to put up an older rom that, while may not be the latest version, is something that was considered stable without the ringer issues? I know that you had one; I ran that rom for quite sometime without issue before upgrading and winding up in this mess.

Thanks again for everything,

Frank

Raider;

Are those the 128dpi or 96dpi?

Thanks,

Re: +++RaiderROM! WM 6.5.3 [04/27/2011]

Seems like the download link's still down.

My Treo took a crap last night and now I cannot send any text messages (but everything else works fine). I called Sprint tech support and they wanted $35 to reflash the rom with the factory default (not going to happen). I'd really like to try the Raider ROM but I can only download the older versions.

Is there somewhere else I can download it from?

Links are back up for the latest STABLE ROMS. I am so frustrated that my latest releases had a bug that i could not troubleshoot...I am still looking at ways to fix it but i cant make any promises. Hell even Mighty Mike gave up after he couldnt fix ringer issue lol. but alas here we are...

Re: +++RaiderROM! WM 6.5.3 [04/27/2011]

I installed then applied the WaitCursorFix to it. I guess it didn't like that and now I can't access the start menu. The phone just freezes for a second.
