Re: +++RaiderROM! WM 6.5.3 [8/15/2010]+CLEAN ROM
Hit a road bump while installing this ROM and I'm not sure where I went wrong but I am stuck looped on the tri color screen with "Upgrade ROM code error Please try again" I cannot get it to be recognized on any PC when plugging it into USB.
I followed the Hard SPL for Treo Pro and on the tri color screen I do have PANT200 SPL-0.36.CMONEX CPLD-2 Any advice on how I can fix this please? |

Re: +++RaiderROM! WM 6.5.3 [8/15/2010]+CLEAN ROM
I got it to to work doing that. Had read through a number of posts before I figured that bit out. Thank you!
Now I am just trying to figure out if I have applied the most recent ROM.. the links on the front page are a bit of a mess. The link right under the 8/19 release is broken so I went with the link underneath it which I am thinking may have been an older version. Anyone able to provide a link that works to the latest release? Thanks in advance. |

Re: +++RaiderROM! WM 6.5.3 [8/15/2010]+CLEAN ROM
Thank you for your work on these roms. I sincerely wish I'd thought to look for modifications to the Treo Pro a year ago when I bought it. Definitely breathing life into this phone again.
Your 8/15/10 update works very well on my handset, but I am running into an issue with the screen lock. Whenever I attempt to use it via the start menu, it will not initiate and I am usually unable to get back to the home screen (clicking on home does nothing, but other apps work). I am able to get back to the home screen after a soft reset, but scrolling with the D-Pad does not work and the start menu will refuse to open via the hard keys (only option as the soft keys are removed in the included 96dpi theme). Hard resets fix the issue, but it returns whenever I attempt to use the screen lock. I have tried several hard resets using both 128 and 96dpi modes. I have flashed this rom twice as well as several others, and the problem is only present in your release. It really is a pity because yours is my favorite so far, as well as one of the most current releases. Any thoughts on where this might be coming from? EDIT: Did some tweaking with the registry. Brought soft keys back, removed the Palm keyguard, restored the WM screen lock, then replaced with S2U2. Works fine now. On a side note, the 96dpi setting allows for full view of No2chem's WM overclocking test utility for QC MSM7XXXA chips (previously cut off bottom half of screen as it's designed for touch pro 2). Freezes when OC'd to 768mhz. Maybe a 6.1 rom would fare better. Too bad no2chem lost all his source code for the project. Last edited by caain; 09-04-2010 at 04:44 AM. Reason: solved problem |
