Thats Wierd! Big D's Rom was working perfectly when it came to that! Which is the reason i didnt use s2u2

Another thing! the scroll issue glitch does not happen on mighty rom version 1

so.... ill guess ill go with one for now! it might not be as eye candy but it works!

which version of s2u2 would you recommend for our phones..?

i have the latest i think it 2.33 and it works perfect!!! ive tried the bige roms and found them to be to "heavy" for my taste so never really did much with them

wait so what exactly is the problem with mightymikes roms (if any)?

i was under the impression that his roms were 100% perfect and working besides the ringer issue. can anyone make a list of issues in all 3 roms so mike can fix all those issues at once?

first release has blue-tooth issue's (blue-tooth hardware not detected)
second release - no ringer
third - no ringer except with telus service (according to mike himself)

but i'm pretty sure he knows all this already

let him take his time and go through the rom completely when he makes a rom its dam near perfect!!!!!

Actually, the First ROM was the vanilla 6.5 with the start menu on the top bar.
That one works fine.

I think the first one that ooxteme refers to is the first 6.5.3 release Mighty made for the TP, and that one did have the no-BT issue.

I'm using the true first one and it's been very stable.

UPDATE: No disrespect intended to ooxteme with this post. I just thought it was a bit confusing because I experienced the no BT issue on the 6.5.3 ROM, but have been having good luck with the original 3/16 (I think) one.

huh ive got that one and had the bt issue with that one. ill try it again maybe mistakin!!! sorry if i was guys!!! but i swear i had issues but then again ive got so much goin on with my business right now!!!!

well if say for example, all of the roms were working 100%, which one would you prefer? the first or second?

i mean to me, im used to pressing the icons on the top row to check my email, look at the battery and for the task manager (and MOST importantly, an app called BeejiveIM for instant messaging which i use the top for to click on the new IM whenever i'm browsing the web). so using the first rom would be a very easy transition.

As for the second rom, the last row buttons are bigger (more finger friendly) but at the expense of the top row) so i would have to learn how to use the os to some extent.

Reason i want to know which one you guys would prefer or what you'd guys think based on how i described my usage is because if the first rom is better, then i don't think i need to wait for the new one and just start flashing the 1st rom. I'm not the kind of person who can always flash all the time whenever a new rom is out (unless it brings drastic changes) so thats why i find it important. ( i can't keep backing up and installing apps all over again)

Sorry for the long, rather demanding post, i've had a boring day today lol

theres not much to "learn" in the first rom besides the top menu part other than that they all work the same the only difference is that they are based on different 6.5 builds. its kinda of a to each there own type of thing with roms like xdalaw said the vanilla 6.5 is just that 6.5 as you get into the newer builds you really just getting "eye candy" adjustments and some unseen changes that you dont know are there unless you know where to look and some that each chef makes to their roms that you cant see. hope that helps in your decision man!!

Hi - I'm just a user who likes the features of WM6.5, and find the TP with 6.5 and a good third-party browser is a pretty useful device.

I was using BigE's most recent ROM and it has been very reliable for me. Everything seems to work, hangs are very infrequent, and rarely have to reboot to get control back.

I tried Mighty Mikes most recent ROM, and installed RealVGA 96dpi. I found that it hung more often, the SIP keyboard was not present, and I had to reboot more. Maybe I was just had a bad day, but I went back to BigE's

You seem like someone who is interested in the development for the sake of development. What do you (or any of the other affectionados) think are the advantages of Mighty Mike's over BigE's, and how do they make a real life difference to someone like me who is interested in the most practical and reliable. Thanks for any insight.

Well each Treo Pro will run the same rom differently. Put 2 Pros next to each other load the same rom on each and see. So with me it's really all about how the phone runs with one of these custom roms installed. Don't get me wrong they are all great in there own ways. But like I said earlier it's all about what you like and whichever rom works better for you and your needs. Me personally like a bloatware free light running rom like these that Mike has released cause im all bout speed. So I hope this helps.
