The BT problem was with the first 6.5.3 ROM, not the original 6.5 ROM he posted. (3/16th, I think, is fine.)

The first ROM (the 6.5 from March 16th) was very solid without any significant issues IMHO.

I think there might be but I don't use BlueTooth, + I kinda need my phone to ring.

Wouldn't it be beneficial to have a single thread per individual builts, its kind off a mission have to keep up with what going on with each version as it gets updated, imho

the first rom has no ringer issues and its stable, just make sure you hard reset before flashing to avoid any hiccups. Also idk but when you change the wallpaper sometimes in the first rom, you can't go back to the today screen and you have to reset. So for the people who like to change their wallpapers, idk if this rom is for you.

Don't get me started. Of course it would. I've asked before but I think it is designed that way to make you go nuts looking for relevant answers to the build you are looking at and just buy a new phone.

so I'm guessing this changing of themes issues in cooked roms is rampant, I guess since it got ported over, wondering if this would happen to devices that have a native 6.5 rom ie. samsung epix etc, I'm thinking it won't right, hopefully this gets resolved in mighty's rom

it may seem like you need 3 hands for this.. but...

hold down the power button, volume down button, the enter button (round circle), and the back button (<-), then while holding them down use the stylus to hit the reset button under the battery cover. Keep holding the 4 buttons (not the reset, that you only need to hit briefly to reset).

This will drop it into the boot loader (tri-color screen) simply connect your usb cable and retry the ROM update utility or load up a different ROM.

It takes something special after installing HardSPL to brick a phone.

woah, im pretty sure its just the power and volume down button while pressing the reset button to get the tri color screen
