You don't need to open it with a zip program just double click it or right click and "Run as Admin"

I tried the version 6.1 and I must say its the best cooked rom I've used so far, only the stock Sprint rom I have used is as fast, but this has all the interface enhancements similar to 6.5.

Very well executed and the setup very conveniently exactly to my preferences out of the box. I'm really enjoying the responsiveness of the interface. Thank you.

PS. I'm sort of wondering about the CorePlayer that is preloaded with this rom, from my knowledge its a retail software and it cost $30. Is the version included actually legal? (I figured it is, to be included, but I'm not sure how.)

About to download and install 6.5-2.1 rom and use on Sprint. After provisioning runs, do we still need to do hard reset?

And, is it OK if I flash this rom over another custom rom instead of flashing back to stock and then to this rom and thanks.

There's a 6.5 ROM with 2.1 Manila? The only 6.5 ROM I see in the link has Manilla 2.5 on it..

After provisioning runs, you don't have to do a hard reset - otherwise, you'll have to re-provision again.

Ah, yeah - that's a 6.5.3 version which, like the 6.5.1 version has the taskbar at the bottom. I was going to say, if there was a 6.5 version with manila 2.1, I'd be on it in a heartbeat!

When I go into my messages, all the messages are not in order, when i press from the tab. Although, when I click on "all messages" soft key, the messages are in order. Anyone else have this problem?

I have to say the truth.....I tested all the major ROMs in our forum and your ROM build 21055 WM6.1 is the fastest ROM for TP2 in PPCGEEKS up to dec 12 2009.

I concur completely with this. One question though running 6.1 rom - what is the best way for me to access Camera - right now I just put a shortcut in Programs. Again, the best rom I have used - fantastic job!
